Counselling and Pssychotherapy

Counselling and Pssychotherapy for students and trainees

As a student training to be a counsellor or psychotherapist you will be required and encouraged to attend your own personal therapy sessions.

At the beginning of your course you may have had some counselling experience as a client or it may be completely new to you. Whatever your journey has been, you will quickly find engaging with your own therapy to be invaluable, as you process course material and begin to deal with thoughts and feelings from your course and its interaction with your wider life experience.

I have many years experience as a counsellor and therapist working with students from a wide range of courses including:

drawing from a wide range of Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institutions in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptionshire, Buckinghamshire and London.

For a number of years I have presented seminars to groups of students on an MA course in London and in recent months I have been involved working with some local students on a Diploma level Counselling course.

My current and past experience keeps me connected to student perspectives and aware of any issues and challenges relevant to current practice.
